Following on from his critically lauded 2019 solo debut ‘Tricks Of The Trade Won’t Save The Day’ , West Cork based Jake Stanley teamed up with former bandmate Susanna Goodnight to record an album that was due to be out this autumn. The Covid pandemic threw the recording schedule up in the air so they’ve decided to release 3 pairs of tracks over the summer. ‘Shoulder to Shoulder / Wreck’ is the second of these. Out on 29th of June. Featuring glorious vocal harmonies with Susanna, deft acoustic and slinky electric guitar, bass and percussion by multi- instrumentalist Jake. These are songs of courage and grace in the face of life’s trials. Enjoy.
